She looked around stepping out of the shower, walking past the pile of dirty and torn clothes she discarded over a half-hour ago. She felt her heart beating as she approaching the mirror noticing the scratches on her face and neck and a large bruise on the left side of her face. Now face to face with the image looking back, her breath fogged the mirror with each breath. When her trembling fingers touched the reflection, a drop of water slid down the glass like a tear mirroring the one in her eye that gently rolled down her left cheek.
A dry whisper came from her lips, “Who are you?”
