Demeas follows the thief to a neighbouring Kingdom to recover The Pillars, which is a collection of Sacred Writings handed down and preserved by clerics for more than three thousand years.
“He went up that road, sir,” pointed the young boy about twelve years old.
“Are you sure?”
Demeas gave the boy a copper coin, “Thank you, son.”
Walking to the edge of town he was busy thinking about what to do next that he did not hear the boy thank him. The road the boy pointed out led to Ehmendha, Ghendhar’s capital, but many roads branched off this one. The road also led to Demeas’s home village, Rheghanesh, located a few hours from Ehmendha. He hadn’t been there in over thirty years.
