Weekend Writing Warriors – Restoration #5

Welcome to another snippets. I hope you will enjoy this week’s selection which is but a part of the greater whole. The idea is to present the entire short story to you 8 – 10 sentences at a time.

This link will take you to the Weekend Writing Warriors home page where you can check out snippets from other writers.

The past two weeks have been hectic and distracting, leaving me too late to post a snippet Saturday evening. I am a little disappointed with myself, but think I’ve come up with viable solution and not have to be concerned about missing another Weekend Writing Warriors Sunday.

Demeas has just been informed to the situation and is prepared to leave and find The Pillars.

“Sit, please. You need to know what you could be up against. Not everyone here has been accounted for. One novice priest cannot be found.” Gallien paused. He bent his shoulders forward and, voice breaking, he continued, “Nor can two H’Rhophyans. Costane and Faldron.”
Demeas sat erect, “I know these men. I have trusted my life to each more than once.”
