Currently Reading “Along Came a Spider” by James Patterson

I finished reading the book yesterday afternoon, April 21, 2016, and decided to give the movie a look as well. I was disappointed, not because the book and movie were poor–they weren’t– but because the movie was such a huge departure from the book. If the title, character names and places were changed for the movie you would not know that it was based on this book. I don’t understand how authors can watch their work be changed that much. But I digress.

This was an very enjoyable read that kept me wanting more. I like the short chapters which usually hooked me (do all Patterson’s follow the shorter chapter model?). I found the book to be a fast paced roller coaster ride with memorable characters, especially the bad guy, Gary Soneji.

I’m glad I started this series binge. I will give the book a solid 4/5 stars. “Kiss The Girls” is next, right?
